Warwick Police arrest man after alleged DUI with child in car

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Police Department said a man was arrested after a hit-and-run and allegedly driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle.

39-year-old Frank Campagnone, of Foster, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor or drugs with a child under the age of 13-years-old as a passenger.

The Rhode Island State Police also charged him with leaving the scene of an accident on Route 6 in the Providence/Johnston area.

He is set to be arraigned as a bail violator.
