RIDOT to continue Washington Bridge work

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Demolition work on the Washington Bridge continues Monday morning with RIDOT crews focusing on the bridge pier.

Gano Street will be closed at the 195 overpass.

The work will continue throughout the week, with alternating lane closures from 9 a.m. 3 p.m.

RIDOT said the Gano Street on ramp to 195 will remain open at all times.
