Crews battle three-alarm house fire in Brockton

BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Brockton Fire Department said crews battled a three-alarm house fire on Weston Street on March 30.
Around 6:05 p.m., crews were dispatched to a fire at a home on Weston Street.
According to WCVB, one man escaped the home and was taken to a local hospital for smoke inhalation. Additionally, firefighters rescued several cats and kittens from the fire.
Mutual aid from Stoughton Fire Rescue and the West Bridgewater Fire Department assisted the Brockton Fire Department to battle the flames.
