Providence Police investigating ‘unsuccessful’ bank robbery

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said that it was investigating after a man “unsuccessfully” attempted to rob the Santander Bank on Smith Street.

The department said the suspect fled on foot.
