Fall River Restaurant Week returns for a fourth year

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) – Fall River Restaurant Week is back for its fourth year!
Foodies can get a taste of Fall River at 24 participating restaurants across the city. This year restaurants are offering both a 3-course meal for $35 per person as well as a “Chef’s Choice” menu giving chefs the opportunity to offer new dishes or test out a whole new menu concept.
The event is organized by Viva Fall River, in partnership with the City of Fall River. According to Patti Rego, Executive Director of Viva Fall River, this week gives people the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone when it comes to dining out.
“As customers, we get so used to the same places all the time. This is a nice invitation, as you will, to come have a seat at our table and try something new,” said Rego. “What makes Fall River Restaurant Week so special is that it truly does encompass so many different types of cuisines.”
This year, food-lovers will be able to participate in the new ‘Passport Program.’ It encourages repeat visits and rewards diners for exploring multiple restaurants during the week. Visitors can collect digital stamps and receive incentives and be entered into raffles for prizes.
