State Trooper hurt after colliding with utility pole in Harwich

HARWICH, Mass. (WLNE) — A Massachusetts State Trooper was injured after crashing into a utility pole in Harwich Sunday.

WCVB reported that the incident occurred on Orleans Harwich Road before 7 a.m.

Police said that the car hydroplaned due to the roads being wet.

The trooper was taken to the hospital and then released.
