West Greenwich crews battle weekend highway car fire
WEST GREENWICH, R.I. (WLNE) — Fire crews from Chief 201, Engine-21, Lake Mishnock, WGEMS and Hianloland T-19 responded to a car fire on Route I-95 South at Weaver Hill Sunday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:51 p.m. when the car erupted in flames due to a ruptured fuel tank.
The fire took approximately an hour to extinguish.
