Jury continues to take shape in Karen Read retrial

DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Ten jurors are in place as jury selection enters day five in the murder retrial of Karen Read.

Five men and five women are seated on the jury, and of the 45 people in Monday’s pool of potential jurors, 41 said they’ve heard of the case.

31 said they’ve formed an opinion and 13 said they have a bias.

24 said serving as a juror would be a hardship for them.
