Human remains found just over Rhode Island line in Killingly

KILLINGLY, Conn. (WLNE) — Friday morning Connecticut State Police confirmed human remains were discovered in Killingly right over the Rhode Island state line.

State troopers found the remains on Woodward Street Thursday afternoon.

The road is a dead end by a nearby body of water called Davis Brook.

ABC6 spoke to one resident on Woodward street who says it’s very concerning that something like this could be discovered in Killingly.

A few weeks ago, the remains of Michele Romano were found about ten minutes away in Foster, Rhode Island.

And in Groton, Connecticut just a few days earlier, human remains were found near a cemetery.

Connecticut State Police says there is “no known connection” between the three investigations at this time.
