Multiple Pawtucket firefighters facing disciplinary action

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A spokesperson for the Pawtucket Mayor’s Office said that several city firefighters were facing disciplinary action for undisclosed reasons.

The spokesperson said that the firefighters had a pre-deprivation hearing on April 9.

The investigation was a personnel matter and was said to be ongoing.

The spokesperson added that more information would be released when it became “publicly available.”
