Man sentenced for child molestation convicted of sexual assault, has third pending case

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A defendant accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile female was convicted of three counts of first-degree sexual assault Monday, according to Rhode Island Attorney General Peter F. Neronha.

Johnnie Doe, 60, of Pawtucket, was found to have assaulted the juvenile victim, who was known to him, between 2014 and 2017.

Doe was also previously convicted of four counts of second-degree child molestation in June of 2022 and was sentenced in August of 2022 to 12 years at the ACI.

Doe is also charged with one count of first-degree child molestation in an unrelated pending case.
