FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — The Foxborough Police Department said a man was sentenced on April 15 after he pled guilty to an armed bank robbery in 2022.

49-year-old Louis Paris, of Rockland, was sentenced to six to eight years in state prison after he pled guilty to one count of armed robbery while masked and two counts of assault by means of a dangerous weapon.

On Sept. 13, 2022, a male suspect approached a bank teller at the Bank of America on School Street in a surgical mask.

The suspect, later identified as Paris, then pointed a gun at the bank teller and customer, and stole about $10,000 in cash, according to Foxborough police.

Through bank security video and a thorough investigation, police identified the suspect as Paris, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey.

About a week later, Paris was arrested at his apartment.
