Pawtucket Police investigating stabbing on Walcott Street

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said it is investigating a stabbing that happened on Walcott Street Wednesday night.

Pawtucket police said just before 9 p.m., a resident answered a knock at their door and discovered four men outside.

The four suspects then assaulted the male victim, which resulted in him getting stabbed in the abdomen, according to Pawtucket police.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injures.

Pawtucket police said the incident was targeted.

The stabbing remains under investigation.
