PROVIDENCE (WLNE)- Hugo is on the road to to recovering from emergency surgery, but his friends at the East Greenwich Animal Protection League are still hoping he will soon find a home.
Hugo suffered from a host of intestinal problems, including a prolapse, that required immediate-and expensive- surgery.
The EGAPL have recovered a good portion of that price tag, but are hoping that with a little hand, the rest will soon be covered.
Those interested in donating can visit: https://bit.ly/370VI2A or visit the shelter in person at:
44 Worthington Rd, Cranston, RI 02910.
The volunteers at the shelter ask anyone donating to specify “Hugo” with their gifts.
Hugo will be recovering for a few more days at his foster-family’s home, but he may be back at the shelter as soon as Wednesday, where he will be available for adoption.
Hugo’s brothers, Barry and Earl, are also looking to find their forever-homes.
