Perfect Springtime Weather

This stretch of fine springtime weather continues on in Southern New England. High pressure will once again deliver a fabulous day with tons of sunshine and warmer than average highs near 70, near 55 along the coast. Overnight a warm front comes through with a few clouds and overnight temperatures in the 50s. The warm air associated with the warm front pours into the area Friday and with all of that sunshine, temperatures will top out near 80 for inland areas. Friday along the coast, temperatures will be cooler in the upper-50s with an onshore flow. The weekend starts off with clouds and showers for the morning as a cold front approaches. The heart of the front comes through later in the afternoon/ evening and will give us steadier rain, but also the chance of thunderstorms. Saturday will be much cooler topping out in the lower-60s. Sunday sees the return of the sun with much cooler highs in the upper-50s. Next week is shaping up to be fantastic to start complete with sunshine MOnday through Wednesday and high temperatures much warmer than average, hitting highs in the 70s.
