Jurors visit site of John O’Keefe’s death as Karen Read retrial wraps up for week

CANTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Jurors in the murder retrial of Karen Read visited the canton property Friday where Boston police officer John O’Keefe’s body was found on the night of his death in 2022.

Our Boston affiliate WCVB reports that Dr. Garrey Faller is the first witness to take the stand.

Dr. Faller is an anatomic and clinical pathology specialist.

Faller was at Good Samaritan hospital in 2022 when O’Keefe was brought there.

On Thursday, text messages between O’Keefe and Read sent in the hours leading up to his death were read aloud.

The prosecution also played ABC News interview clips of Read talking about how much she drank that night.
