Soggy Start To The Weekend
Hope you’ve enjoyed this little taste of summer on our Friday! We have big changes in store for the weekend.
Low pressure currently to our west is moving in, bringing rain and wind with it. Showers arrive early Saturday morning, becoming more widespread as the morning goes on. We’ll have some heavy pockets of rain and some gusty winds (gusts 30+mph possible) as well. Any breaks from the rain will be brief during the day. We’ll get a slightly longer break during the early evening, but as we get closer to 9 PM or so, this storm will give us its final flourish with a final band of rain as a cold front comes through Southern New England. We could also have a few rumbles of thunder throughout the day as well. High temperatures will only be in the low 60s.
Sunday isn’t as soggy, but it’s not a 10/10 either. We could see a quick shower or two, and we’ll be in and out of the clouds as low pressure steadily pulls away from New England. It’ll be breezy, and highs will only be in the upper 50s.
Of course, as we head back to work on Monday, the weather takes a turn for the better and brighter! We’ll have a sunny and warm start to the workweek, with highs in the upper 60s/low 70s. Tuesday will be nearly identical.
