RIPTA and RIFC announce free gameday bus service

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority and Rhode Island Football Club are offering fans free bus service for home games this season.
RIPTA and RIDC aim to reduce traffic congestion, citing the 10,500 fans expected for the game on May 3.
According to RIPTA, the gameday bus, called Route R-1636, will circle around certain bus stops through Pawtucket, Central Falls, and Providence every eight to ten minutes.
The bus will drop riders off at the Ivan Perez Memorial Park, which is nearby to Centreville Bank Stadium.
The free service will start three hours before kickoff and end one hour after postgame events.
The bus will stop at the following locations:
- Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center (300 Pine Street, Pawtucket)
- Rhode Island FC Reserved Parking Lot M7 (Former Apex building at 100 Main Street, Pawtucket)
- Exchange after Broad (23 Exchange Street), Stop ID: 055990
- 175 Main Street (Opposite Slater Mill)
- Passengers parking at Lot M12 will board here
- Lots M14, M13, M15 are walking distance to this bus stop
- Roosevelt Avenue (121 Exchange Street), Stop ID: 023125
- Passengers parking at Lot M16 will board here
- Division SAtreet Bridge (50 Division Street)
- Passengers parking at Lots D5, D6, and D7 will board here
- Ivan Perez Memorial Park (319 Pleasant Street)
- R-1636 will drop off passengers here for the game
- Closest bus stop to the stadium
- Passengers will board here for return trip
