Woonsocket prepares to flush city hydrants Tuesday night

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Woonsocket Water Division is preparing for hydrant flushing across the city Tuesday night.

Starting at 9 p.m., hydrants will be flushed along Grove Street, Park Avenue, Green Street, Front Street, South Main Street and Providence Street.

The flashings will wrap up at 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.

If you experience discolored water during that time, be sure to run your cold water for a short time to clear the

lines.
