Five people displaced after house fire in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Fire Department said five people are displaced after a house fire Wednesday night.

Around 7 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to Dickens Street for a structure fire.

Upon arrival, heavy fire was discovered on the outside of the home, which extended to the attic, according to Warwick fire officials.

The fire was under control within 15 minutes.

Nobody was injured.

The Red Cross is assisting the five people who are displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
