State fire marshal determines Sayles Hill Rod and Gun Club fire accidental
NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) — The fire at the Sayles Hill Rod and Gun Club early Tuesday morning has been deemed accidental.
According to the state fire marshal, the fire originated on the deck of the entrance and was most likely caused by cigarette butts in an outdoor ashtray.
The rod and gun club was reduced to rubble on Tuesday.
No one was hurt in the fire.
