Swansea suspect in dressing room filming of teenage girl out on bail, must wear GPS tracker
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A 25-year-old Swansea man is now out on bail after police said he filmed a teen who was changing in a dressing room.
Swansea police say the incident happened on Monday night at the Target store on Route 6.
Police were called to a report that a man filmed a 17-year-old girl while she was trying on a bathing suit.
Surveillance video caught an image of John Michael Williams in the store and later posted them to social media.
Police were able to identify the suspect with tips from the public.
Williams was arrested on Wednesday and charged with photographing intimate parts of a child, possession of child pornography and disorderly conduct.
Along with making bail, Williams must wear a GPA monitoring device.
He was also ordered to stay away from the victim and all children under 18.
Williams is due back in court in June.
