Firefighters battle trailer fire at South Kingstown campground
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Firefighters battled a trailer fire at the Worden Pond Campground on Tuesday afternoon.
The Union Fire District of South Kingstown said crews discovered a working fire upon arrival.
Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire and prevent the flames from extending.
Crews remained on scene for about an hour after the fire was extinguished.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
