Warwick Police Chief to retire in June

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick Police Department Chief Col. Bradford Connor announced he would retire on June 29.

Mayor Frank Piccozzi made the announcement of the decision on Facebook Wednesday.

The mayor said that Connor had been a member of the department for 27 years, and served as chief for the last four-and-a-half.

“We thank Colonel Connor for his decades of service, his steady leadership, and his commitment to the safety and well-being of our community,” Piccozzi said. “We wish him all the best in this next chapter.”
