RIDOT announces highway lane shifts in Warwick, Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Starting Friday night in Warwick, RIDOT will shift all travel lanes on route 113 where it passes over I-95 and I-295.

Two travel lanes in each direction will remain open for traffic on the eastbound side.

The exit off route 113 east to I-95 will remain closed.

All other exits and ramps will remain open.

The traffic pattern will stay in place until mid-summer.

In Providence, RIDOT will begin opening additional travel lanes off I-95 north on the northbound Providence viaduct service road.

That’s at exit 38 for route 146 and State Offices.

RIDOT will begin opening lanes Friday night at 9.

The lanes will be open by 6 a.m. Saturday.
