Person suffers smoke inhalation after fire in Killingly

KILLINGLY, Conn. (WLNE) — The South Killingly Fire Department said a person was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation on Saturday.

Crews responded to Ledge Road around 7:30 a.m. to find a one-and-a-half story home with heavy smoke showing.

The fire originated in the basement.
