Road closed due to snapped utility pole in Freetown

FREETOWN, Mass. (WLNE) — The Freetown Police Department said that Chace Road was closed Saturday afternoon due to a crash that snapped a utility pole and downed wires.

The closure was between between the Route 140 South ramp and the intersection of Braley Road, Gurney Road, and Chace Road.

The department said motorists can use Gurney Road to Washburn Road onto County Road to avoid the closure.
