Rep. Gabe Amo said his thoughts were with Biden and his family:
My thoughts are with President Joe Biden, his family, loved ones, and his medical team as he faces his recent cancer diagnosis.
President Biden has dedicated his life to the service of the American people, and so often had the weighty task of bringing comfort and consolation to countless Americans in our nation’s darkest hours.
President Biden’s experience with his own son’s cancer diagnosis and his long advocacy for cancer research and treatment means he knows the challenges faced by patients and their families. But I am sure he will respond with the great resilience and courage that has been a hallmark of his life.
As we hold President Biden and the Biden family in our thoughts and prayers, let’s do as he often reminds us – let’s keep the faith.
Rep. Seth Magaziner said he was praying for the former president:
President Biden has devoted his entire adult life to serving the country he loves. I join the nation in praying for him and his family during this difficult time.
