UPDATE: Portsmouth “porch pirate” arrested

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WLNE) — Portsmouth police have napped an accused “porch pirate.”
Police say Cheyanne Brannen turned herself on Saturday and was held overnight at the Women’s Intake Center.

Brannen was wearing a black hooded jacket, ripped blue jeans, and white sneakers when she was caught on home surveillance video footage taking a package from the porch of a home on Wapping Road on March 4th before fleeing the scene.
She will be arraigned on larceny charge in Second District Court Monday.
