DUI patrols ramped up in Rhode Island communities Friday night into holiday weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — If you are hitting the roads this weekend, drive safely, Rhode Island State Police stated that law enforcement agencies across the state will have increased patrols.

As part of DUI enforcement, the “B.A.T. mobile” will be in Jamestown Friday from 8 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

That’s the Blood Alcohol Testing mobile unit.

Jamestown, North Kingstown and Newport police will be working to identify and arrest drunk drivers.
