Sentencing delayed for man convicted in 2019 New Bedford murder of teen
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The sentencing for a man convicted in a 2019 New Bedford homicide has been rescheduled, according to the office of Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III.
Kevin Edwards will now be sentenced on Friday at 2 p.m. at Fall River Superior Court.
Edwards was convicted May 15 of murder, assault and battery with a firearm and other firearms-related offenses in the October 2019 homicide of 17-year-old Paul Collazo-Ruiz.
A second victim in the incident was left paralyzed.
