Accident reconstructionist testifies in Karen Read retrial

DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — After a short hiatus, Karen Read’s retrial resumed Tuesday in Dedham.

An accident reconstructionist testified for the prosecution and is expected to be the state’s final witness.

The reconstructionist testified that he examined Karen Read’s SUV and created a 3D model.

The defense is expected to start calling witnesses once the reconstructionist’s testimony is over, and the big question is whether Read’s team will call Trooper Michael Proctor, the lead investigator on the case who was fired after the first trial, because of his work.
