‘The Molar Express’ to offer free dental service to children in Blackstone Valley

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) — Federal, state, and local officials gathered on Tuesday to celebrate the expansion of the Molar Express to Blackstone Valley.

The Molar Express is a mobile clinic that offers free dental services to children living in communities in need.

In 2024, Delta Dental said the mobile dental program treated nearly 1,500 children in Rhode Island.

With the new expansion, Delta Dental said hundreds more children will be able to receive dental services.

The Mobile Express will deliver the services to children at schools, head start programs, and other community-based programs across Rhode Island.

The new program is run through a partnership between the Blackstone Valley Community Health Care and Delta Dental.
