New Bedford Police say 12-year-old autistic boy was found safe

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Police Department said a 12-year-old boy who is mildly autistic was found safe “just minutes” after posting on social media.

Police said 12-year-old Angel was last seen around 4 p.m., and was found “safe and sound” Tuesday night.

“We cannot thank the public enough for the immediate shares that posts like this get,” the New Bedford Police Department said. “Thank you for coming together as a team.”
