PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Drug Enforcement Administration agents executed a federal search warrant on Douglas Avenue in Providence Thursday afternoon, a spokesperson for the agency said.

ABC6 News crews saw DEA agents inside King’s Car Wash and saw a man handcuffed outside the business.

The Providence Fire Department later responded to the scene.

Protesters began to arrive around 12:30 p.m., using a bullhorn.

At least one agent on scene was wearing a badge for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Federal agents cleared the scene before 2 p.m.
