PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Fentanyl was seized from a Providence car wash after the Drug Enforcement Administration served a federal search warrant Thursday, a DEA spokesperson said.

Heavily-armed agents executed the warrant at the King’s Car Wash on Douglas Avenue Thursday afternoon.

ABC6 News crews saw multiple people detained on scene.

We reached out to the Rhode Island U.S. Attorney’s Office in an effort to confirm any arrests, but have not yet heard back.

A call to the number listed for King’s Car Wash went to voicemail Thursday, and there was no voicemail box set up.

The spokesperson for the DEA said the investigation is ongoing and the agency has no further comment right now.
