Providence police welcome new member to the force

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department is swearing in a new member of their team.

Except this one has four legs: Busco.

He’s a nearly two-year-old English Labrador trained to sniff out electronic devices, like phones, memory cards and air tags.

Police officials said Busco has already worked to locate hidden phones, found secret tracking devices and even found hidden cameras.
