Stormy End to the Workweek
Once again we find ourselves finishing a workweek and going into the weekend with unsettled weather. Friday morning will start with mild temperatures, muggy conditions and hazy sunshine. These conditions will set the stage for enhanced storminess. Friday will be another very warm day with highs in the lower 80s and very muggy humidity. A cold front will come through Friday with a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Any thunderstorms we see have the slight chance of being severe with damaging winds being the greatest concern. The most likely time for this activity looking to be in the afternoon through the evening. The most likely location is in northern Providence County. Clouds linger with a chance of showers through the night into Saturday. Saturday temperatures will top near 83 and the humidity will remain stuffily muggy. Another cold front will come through Saturday afternoon and evening with another chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunday will be mainly dry with a blend of sun and clouds and highs in the mid-70s. Monday will be similar to Sunday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the lower-70s. Tuesday will be unsettled with lots of clouds and the chance of showers and highs near 74. Wednesday will also have a chance of showers with warmer highs near 80. Sunshine abounds next Thursday with an anticipated high of 83.
