Bat that bit resident in Plainville tests positive for rabies

PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — Wrentham and Plainville Animal Control said that a bat that bit a resident tested positive for rabies.

The bite occurred on June 2, and the bat was humanely euthanized before being sent out for testing.

The victim had also began medical treatment.
