Woonsocket hosts 5th Pride Celebration

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The City of Woonsocket held its fifth annual Pride Celebration at River Island Park Saturday.

The festival featured drag performances, food trucks, and vendors.

Organizers said the current celebration was the largest one since they began in 2021.

A share of the proceeds from the event will be reinvested into the city.
