Vinny Paz officially inducted into International Boxing Hall of Fame
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Rhode Island native got his due Sunday, in the sport he dedicated his life to.
Vinny Paz was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, New York.
Paz, from Cranston, is remembered for his comeback from a dislocated vertebrae after a car crash in Warwick in 1991.
Only 14 months after being told he might not walk again, Paz was back in the ring.
Other members of this year’s class include Manny Pacquiao and Mary Jo Sanders.
