Cranston Police say man taken to hospital after being struck by car

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department said a man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car on Wednesday.

On Wednesday afternoon, crews responded to a residence on Woodland Avenue.

Police said a person was backing their vehicle into the driveway when they accidently struck a man.

The patient was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
