2 bodies in the process of being identified after being found on missing boat off Cape Cod
ORLEANS, Mass. (WLNE) — Two bodies were found on Wednesday on a fishing boat that went missing and sunk off of Cape Cod.
According to WCVB, the U.S. Coast Guard found the 30-foot boat that sunk off of Eastham.
The identities of the two bodies recovered are currently unknown.
According to officials, the 64-year old Captain Shawn Arsenault and his girlfriend, Felicia Daley, left Orleans aboard the “Seahorse” on June 6 to go clamming.
However, the couple didn’t come back as scheduled on June 8.
Witnesses told the Coast Guard that Arsenault was seen throwing things overboard before leaving, and the boat’s GPS was found on a nearby beach.
The bodies are now in the process of being identified.
