Trial in 2022 murder to begin Monday

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The murder trial for a man accused of beating a woman to death with a rock in Exeter is set to begin on Monday morning.

Ramsundar Ramkalawan, 64, faces one felony charge of murder in connection to the death of Donna MacDonald, also 64.

The two lived in the same apartment building on South County Trail, but how they knew each other is not currently known.

That trial will begin at Washington County Superior Court at 9:30.
