Second Barrington student makes allegations against former bus monitor

BARRINGTON, R.I. (WLNE) — A second student has come forward with allegations against a former bus monitor accused of sexually assaulting an elementary school student.

Barrington Public Schools Superintendent Robert Fargo said both allegations happened on the same bus route.

BPS removed the bus monitor from the route.

Ocean State Transit, the third party company BPS hires from, said the person was placed on leave from their company.

The Barrington School Committee will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, June 24 to appoint a third-party investigator.
