Bill would install school bus cameras to monitor for bus violations

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The general assembly passed legislation requiring school buses to be equipped with video cameras.

The cameras would monitor any school bus violations, including vehicles passing buses when red lights flash.

This bill is headed to the governor’s desk.
