Lincoln Police investigating after body found on Great Road

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Lincoln Police Department said it is investigating after a body was found on Great Road on Tuesday.

Rhode Island State Police assisted Lincoln police on scene.

Lincoln police said the investigation has “not uncovered any evidence of criminal activity at this time.”

Police said this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.

The investigation is ongoing.
