Suspect charged in stabbing death of Middleborough man

MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said a suspect was charged in the stabbing death of 66-year-old Paul Pomerleau on June 28.

41-year-old Andrew Horsman was charged with murder.

Police responded to a home on Fairview Street around 8 p.m. for reports of a fight and a man stabbed.

There they found Pomerleau, who was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Horsman was allegedly found nearby the residence and was taken into custody without incident.

Police said that Pomerleau was in a long-term relationship with the Horsman’s mother.

Cruz said that after an investigation Horsman was charged.
