Plainville Police searching for 2 suspects accused of stealing elderly woman’s wallet at Stop & Shop

PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — The Plainville Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects accused of stealing an elderly woman’s wallet at a grocery store.

On June 3, police were sent to the Stop and Shop on Taunton Street for a report of a larceny.

Police allege the female suspect distracted the elderly woman while the man stole the wallet.

The suspects then allegedly spent over $3,000 on the elderly woman’s credit card.

Police described the male suspect to have a medium build, light complexion, and medium height.

The female suspect was described to have a small build, light complexion, and short height.
