Pedestrian in critical condition after being struck by vehicle in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A male victim is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Broad Street and Service Road in Providence Wednesday morning.

According to Providence police, the victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and has not yet been identified.

The driver of the vehicle in the crash remained on scene.

The incident is under investigation by the Providence Police Department Traffic Bureau.
